For Fencers (Born 2011 and Older) and Parents

Dear Fencing Families,

We are excited to invite all fencers born in 2011 and older, as well as parents of all our fencing students, to participate in a Weapon and Bodywire Fixing Course at Oslo Fekteklub!

Why Attend?

Properly maintaining and repairing your fencing equipment is an essential skill for every fencer. It ensures:

• Safety during training and competitions.
• Better performance through well-maintained equipment.
• Cost savings, as minor fixes can prevent costly replacements.
• Confidence in handling unexpected equipment issues at tournaments.

This course is also a great opportunity to foster collaboration between fencers and parents, helping everyone better understand and care for the tools of our sport.

What to Bring?

Please bring:

• A weapon if you/they have their own.
• Any tools you have at home, such as small screwdrivers. 
• A notebook and pen for taking notes.

• Troubleshooting tips for equipment malfunctions.
• Best practices for maintenance to extend the lifespan of your gear.
